SUPERIOR grade is our finest product and is ideal for maximum size panel production, fine cabinetry, furniture, and moldings that require clear exposed faces.

SUPERIOR 10/4 is a top of the line product. It includes all NHLA Firsts, Seconds( FAS1F), and most select boards.

ONE FACE SUPERIOR grade is an excellent product and is ideal for maximum size panel production, fine cabinetry, furniture, and moldings that require clear 1 face.

CABINET grade is a high-grade product superbly suited for cabinet and panel production requiring two exposed faces.

10/4 NUMBER 1 grade is a high-grade product sorted for a combination of clear one face (C1F) and clear two face (C2F) Cuttings. Sound back rules apply to the (C1F) cuttings.

CUSTOM SHOP is a high-grade board sorted for clear one-face utilization. Middle to long cuttings (24 to 60 inches (60.96 to 152.40 cm)) are available for panels, casegood fronts and tops and, cabinets requiring one clear exposed surface. The Sound Back also works well for some knotty applications, making this a very versatile grade.

COMMON SHOP boards are selected for shorter clear one face cuttings maximizing raw material value, well suited for finger-jointed panels and specialty items.

10/4 NUMBER 2 boards are selected for maximizing raw materials value.

NUMBER 3 SHOP grade is an economy grade that is used in upholstered furniture and sofa manufacturing. Boards are selected for shorter sound cuttings maximizing raw materials value. Well suited for finger jointed panels and specialty items

CJB is a top of the line, high yield narrow Superior product, maximizing clear two face cuttings, well suited for use in door frame, panel, cabinet and, molding applications.

JB1 is a narrow Cabinet grade well suited for use in door frame and panel production, cabinetry and, furniture, maximizing clear two face cuttings.

JB is similar to a narrow Custom / Highline Common grade well suited for cross cutting applications for use in panel production, maximizing sound back, clear one face (C1F) cuttings.

K STRIP is the top of the line, sound, structural grade similar to a narrow Premium Frame. Each board contains one rail with a minimum cutting 4 1/4 inch (107.95 mm) to 4 3/4 inch (120.65 mm) wide by 84 inches (213.36 cm) long or longer. This product is also popular where a knotty appearance is desired.

RUSTIC grade is designed to provide a product where a knotty rustic look is desired for panel, cabinet and casegood construction, and moldings. Knot size and quality are limited to ensure maximized value in the re-manufacturing process. Graded from the best face, this product may have a high line Number 3 back if the defect does not structurally affect the use in re-manufacture.

PREMIUM is a knotty appearance grade where a small knot is required. It is often used for moldings, casegood construction, entry and interior doors, and furniture applications.

STANDARD FRAME grade boards provide structural grade boards for upholstery frame construction. This grade is also used for a knotty appearance with more character than premium.
Available in 4/4 and 5/4 only

Available in 8/4.

CABINET COLOR is a high-grade product with heavy discoloration of white blotchy sticker impression or blue stain in the clear face cuttings. It was developed to maximize yields of clear two-face (C2F) cuttings in 24 inch (60.96 cm) to 56 inch (142.24 cm) lengths, with minimal development of cuttings below 24 inches (60.96 cm).

CUSTOM SHOP COLOR is a high-grade board sorted for clear one-face (C1F) utilization. Middle to long C1F cuttings 24 to 60 inches (60.96 to 152.40 cm) with heavy discoloration of white blotchy sticker impression or blue stain in the clear one face cuttings.

ALDER RM1 4/4 grade is ideal for finger-jointed panels and specialty items such as chair and table legs.
