GROWING REGION
Situated in the heart of the northern forests of Wisconsin,
St Croix Valley Hardwoods is a consistent producer of many
local hardwood species. The moderate summers and cold winters
typical of Northern Wisconsin create growing conditions
that produce fine grained, even textured hardwood products
that have earned a world wide reputation for quality and
color. From the bright white woods of Aspen, Birch and
Maple to the even colored Cherry and the tight growth rings
of our Red and White Oaks, no other area offers such an
excellent mix of high quality species.
