MAPLE NUMBER 1 SHOP grade is a high-grade board selected for clear two-face and clear one-face applications. The clear two-face cuttings are ideal for panel production, cabinetry, and furniture. The clear one-face cuttings are well suited for casegood fronts and tops, and cabinetry requiring only one clear face.

MAPLE NUMBER 2 SHOP grade is ideal for finger-jointed panels and specialty items such as chair and table legs.

MAPLE NUMBER 3 SHOP grade is an economy grade that is used in upholstered furniture and sofa manufacturing.
Maple Skip
Number 1 & Better

MAPLE SKIP NUMBER 1 OR BETTER grade is a high-grade board selected for clear two-face and clear one-face applications.
Available in 4/4 and 8/4 only.

Maple Skip
Low Grade

MAPLE SKIP LOW GRADE is a low-grade board selected for shorter structurally sound cuttings that grade as a high-line number 3 shop or a number 2 shop board when re-dressed 1/8 inch (3.18 mm).
Available in 8/4 only.

Maple Frame

MAPLE FRAME grade boards provide structural grade boards for upholstery frame construction. MAPLE FRAME grade, if selectively ripped, will yield a balanced number of long rails and shorter parts to construct a normal mix of sofa and chair frames.
Available in 4/4 and 5/4 only.

Select & Better
MAPLE COLOR SELECT & BETTER grade includes all FAS2F and Select boards, but with heavy discoloration of white blotchy sticker impression or blue stain. Select Color boards must grade at least a Number 1 back and the face must grade a select.
